Megan Caldwell is a mother of 3, certified Postpartum Support International Peer Facilitator, and champion of moms in matrescence (complex process of becoming a mother).
She formed this group because I saw a gap for new moms to build consistent, strong communities and have a place to feel supported in the early days of motherhood.
Beyond facilitating Postpartum Circles and being a Mom and partner, she feeds the other parts of her identity by working part time, volunteering with the South Chatt Community Garden and the Chattanooga Free Store, hosting Common Thread (a monthly gathering of women), and spending as much time as possible outside and/or in a body of water.
Groups meet at Downtown Yoga Landing Studio.
This comfortable spot has lots of parking and is near 24 and Downtown Chattanooga.
We will meet in the yoga studio on the first floor (no stairs) and weather permitting we can meet outside on the benches and tables.
There is a changing pad and garbage can for disposable diapers.
There will be nursing pillows and yoga props to make feeding more comfortable.
